Jacqui Boles, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Art Therapist & Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider

Mindful Therapy and Wellness is the private practice of Jacqueline Boles, LMFT, BC-TMH, ATR.  Jacqui is licensed with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists (#202770), a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences of California (#116138), Registered with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (#18-025) and is a Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider per the Center for Credentialing & Education since 2017.   

 

Jacqui earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy from Long Island University, in Brookville, NY.  While in New York, Jacqui provided therapeutic services at the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf/Blind Adults as well as inpatient psychiatric services at Long Beach Medical Center.  Following her undergraduate studies, Jacqui moved to Southern California and received a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy w/Concentration in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles, CA.  Jacqui provided intensive outpatient services and crisis response to the Greater Los Angeles Area for three years before relocating to Austin, TX. In Austin, Jacqui continued to work in intensive community mental health services before establishing a private practice.  Jacqui has since returned to Southern California and is currently providing tele-health services to clients residing in Texas and California.  Jacqui is currently working to obtain certification as a Sex Therapist.

Jacqui currently lives in the San Jacinto Mountains in Southern California with her human significant other, two cats and small dog.  The latter and furrier of that list all make frequent appearances in her tele-health sessions.
