Mindful Therapy and Wellness is the private practice of Jacqueline Boles, LMFT, BC-TMH, ATR. Jacqui is licensed with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists. (#202770), a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences of California (#116138), Registered with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (#18-025) and is a Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider per the Center for Credentialing & Education. Jacqui is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) as well as the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), and Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology.
Jacqui earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy from Long Island University, in Brookville, NY. While in New York, Jacqui provided therapeutic services at the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf/Blind Adults as well as inpatient psychiatric services at Long Beach Medical Center. Following her undergraduate studies, Jacqui moved to Southern California and received a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy w/Concentration in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles, CA. Jacqui provided intensive outpatient services and crisis response to the Greater Los Angeles Area for three years before relocating to Austin, TX. In Austin, Jacqui continued to work in intensive community mental health services before establishing a private practice. After a number of years in Austin, Jacqui has returned to Southern California and is currently providing video counseling services to clients residing in Texas and CA.
Jacqui is married and currently resides with her husband and stepson in San Diego. Jacqui's experience providing services to individuals, couples and families in New York, Texas and California has been invaluable in informing her perspective and approach to treatment.
